Three things you did not know about me

I thought it might be fun to introduce a reoccurring column to my blog in which you get to know a few fun facts about me. Welcome to three things you did not know about me:

1. WE “just” moved back to Central Illinois
   Athena, my husband and I just before COVID, moved from North Carolina back to Illinois. We were missing the Midwest and its people and decided the temperate climate with next to NO winters in North Carolina was not for us. When my husband was offered a Librarian position at Illinois State University we packed our bags and headed home.
2. I am translator & interpreter by trade
   I myself am originally from Northern Germany. Born and raised in Schleswig close to the Danish border. I met my husband when he was stationed with the Air Force in Germany. I went to school for a formal education as translator and interpreter. 
3. Love to built my own sets and props
   I am crafter at heart and whether it is paper crafting or wood working I just love to work on new projects. I have made paper banners for my sessions and refinished a lot of my props. The most recent project is the Lemonade Stand that you will see popping up in my pictures. I love how that one turned out.
