Thank you so much for your interest in this Valentine’s card kit! I’m beyond excited to share one of my favorite hobbies—paper crafting—with you. There’s something so special about creating something by hand, and I promise this will be easy, fun, and a wonderful way to spread love. Whether you’re making this card for a grandparent, parent, sibling, or friend, I know it will bring a smile to their face. So, gather your supplies, let your creativity flow, and let’s make a heartfelt Valentine together!
Here is what you will receive from me in order make this cute personalized Valentine’s card:
The only other thing you need to get started is some glue. Elmer’s glue will work perfectly for this project. So here we go …
Step 1 – Grab the white piece of paper that has the x’s and o’s embossed on it. Add some glue to the back. Place it centered on your red card with just slightly more space on the bottom.
Step 2 – Look for the red piece of paper that looks like a polaroid picture frame. Add glue on the back to three sides of the little frame. Make sure the bottom is one of the sides. Adhere the little frame centered on the white piece of paper with just slightly more space on the bottom.
Step 3 – Next we will ad the words ” Love you” to the card. Add glue to the cut outs and adhere them to the bottom of the red square that looks like a polaroid picture.
Tip: Less glue is more for this step as we don’t want it squeezing out all over the card. It might be helpful to use a toothpick or sewing needle to spread the glue on the back of the words.
Step 4 – The last step is to adhere the sequins to the bottom of the card. Add glue to the back of the sequins and position them in the bottom right corner.
Step 5 – Last but not least add an image to your card to personalize it. You can easily slide it behind the frame on the side where you did not add glue. Perfect size for your images is 3.25″ (width) x 3.5″ (height). Have a photo lab print a 4″x 7″ and cut it to size using a ruller. Or print your picture on the computer. Below a picture of my sweet Valentine Athena.
What do you think? Was it as easy and fun as promised? I hope you and your little ones enjoyed creating your Valentine’s card! I’d love to see you for a photo session this year—whether it’s a fun seasonal experience or a timeless portrait, let’s capture some beautiful memories together.
Wishing you a love-filled Valentine’s Day!
